Nepali workers seek help

Eight Nepali men, employment by Linsun Engineering Company in Sarawak, Malaysia, have been left jobless for the past two months after the company denied them salary and facilities as agreed upon to return home has also been hampered as their passports and asked them to pay 12,548 Malaysian Ringgit (around Rs 400,000) each before they leave. Dhanraj Banjan, Umaraj Halon, Jit Bahadur Gole, Man Bahadur Gole, Panchala Thing, Man Bahadur Rai had arrived in Malaysia through the Kathmandu-based Gulf Manpower Pvt.Ltd. They have appealed to the Nepali embassy to help them.
