Safer Migration Project

This project is joint collaboration with SaMi/HELVETAS under operation since 2012 under the financial support of Swiss Development Corporation (SDC). Under this project, PNCC provides immediate support to distressed migrant workers by mobilizing outreach support mechanism established in Qatar and its wide-spread networks within country and also in gulf countries. To get assisted with its response mechanism in timely and effectively manner, PNCC also coordinates with various government agencies, diplomatic missions, Diaspora, international organizations and migrant community in destination countries. Moreover, PNCC also does lobby and advocacy activities, media and other campaigns and also sensitize concerned stakeholders to integrate efforts for safer migration. Till the date under this project PNCC has been able to provide assistance service to more than 8000 migrant workers in their distressful situations.
